Daal (Dal) Seasoning

Use this seasoning to make authentic Indian Daal or lentil soup. This seasoning works with any type of lentil, but we recommend red lentils as they cook the fastest. This dish can be eaten as a soup or poured over rice for a delicious curried lentil rice bowl! 

The seasoning contains 20 different spices that have been roasted, ground and blended in the right proportions.

Absolutely Amazing !

I first tried a sample of this split lentil daal and then I attempted to make it by following the instructions on the pouch; I must say it is absolutely tasty and there is nothing like it. It makes the cooking process extremely simple and it's super delicious!

So good!

This was the first one I tried from Jaswant's Kitchen and it's what got me hooked. I had never had Daal, but had some lentils in my pantry from making lentil soup. I decided to pick this up after discovering it at my local health food store. After making it the first time, I fell in love with the flavours. I like to enjoy it over brown basmati rice or steamed potatoes.

I never thought I could love lentils so much!

I bought this a coulpe years ago at the One of a Kind Show and can't get enough of it........it's opened up my world to lentils and a fantastic dinner/lunch option for my family. Especially when trying to eat more veggies and less meat. Delicious is an understatement - it's depth of flavour and spice combination is exquisite. Thank you!!

Fantastic lentil soup

Picked this up at St Lawrence Market a few summers ago, and made one of the best lentil soups I've ever tasted. Could not believe the depth of flavor from such an easy recipe. I'm so happy you guys are expanding, I can conveniently grab this at so many places now!
