FAQ
Q: Where can I buy Jaswant's Kitchen spices?
A: You can purchase the spices online right here on this site! Check out the Shop link at the top of the page. Our products are also available in many gourmet grocery stores in Ontario.
Q: Do the spices have an expiry date?
A: We suggest that you store the spice blends in a cool and dry place such as the fridge or freezer where their aromatic flavours will last up to 2 years.
Q: Do the spice blends contain any preservatives or added colours?
A: No. Jaswant's Kitchen products never contain any preservatives, colours or artificial ingredients of any kind. They are completely natural and contain many naturally occurring antioxidants which will contribute to your health.
Q: Why do your products include a statement saying "May contain traces of peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds and soy"?
A: We aware that some of our customers may have severe allergies to some ingredients such as those listed above. So although our products do not explicitly contain any of the ingredients mentioned above, the facility where the spices are ground does contain those items, so there is a small chance of cross contamination. We want to be extra cautious in letting our customers know of potential allergens.
Q: Do you offer cooking classes?
A: We've made our products so easy to use that you don't need any classes. With our spice blends and simple recipes you'll be able to create amazing Indian meals on your own at home. If you ever have any questions or feedback when making any of the dishes, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to help you as you explore the world of Indian cooking.
