Seasoning Pouches

Daal (Dal) Seasoning

$6.50 CAD

Use this seasoning to make authentic Indian Daal or lentil soup. This seasoning works with any type of lentil, but we recommend red lentils as they cook the fastest. This dish can be eaten as a soup or poured over rice for a delicious curried lentil rice bowl!

The seasoning contains 20 different spices that have been roasted, ground and blended in the right proportions.

The recipe for this dish is on the back of the pouch.

This product contains enough seasoning for 8 portions of this dish.

Delicious!

This is delicious! The recipe is helpful and straightforward. Preparing dinner made easy. Something about this spice that makes the dishes even better the next day. The spices develops even more each day which is hard because my family wants to eat everything in one sitting.

Absolutely Amazing !

I first tried a sample of this split lentil daal and then I attempted to make it by following the instructions on the pouch; I must say it is absolutely tasty and there is nothing like it. It makes the cooking process extremely simple and it's super delicious!

So good!

This was the first one I tried from Jaswant's Kitchen and it's what got me hooked. I had never had Daal, but had some lentils in my pantry from making lentil soup. I decided to pick this up after discovering it at my local health food store. After making it the first time, I fell in love with the flavours. I like to enjoy it over brown basmati rice or steamed potatoes.
